Portfolio Design for Brand + Squarespace Designers
Understanding the Complexities and Designing Branded Portfolio Items for Brand + Web Designers
Portfolio Design, a design world to itself, designing ways to showcase your final brand designs and web design work can be a hard feat. In this course, designed for SSDG Members January 2017, we are focusing on what the elements of great portfolio sites are, and how to achieve them. We start with assessing what makes a good portfolio design, and then go through a full example of brand + squarespace site design. We will be creating multiple design files, from brand design showcase, to site showcase, as well as understanding what is good for blogging, social media and more.
This class is great for any designer level, as well as those who design on any web platform. Included are three illustrator templates to create the variety of final designs, from traditional brand board and more.
Hi Squarespace lovers, I'm Meg, the crazy creative behind the start of SSDG. What started as a side project and a wish for a place for my own creative self to learn more about how to be the best squarespace designer I could be, spawned this project. I'm a graphic designer with my studio www.megsummerfield.com where I spend most days helping my amazing clients with their branding.
As a foodie and a designer, you would be surprised if I didn't have a food blog ... right? Yeah, well Summerfield Delight is what really spawned my creativity towards squarespace.
I hail from the small state of Rhode Island, where I work in my artist loft in a 'burb of Providence. You will sometimes see my crazy cat Mabel show up in my feed, she's my crazy studio side-kick. Outside of designing, I'm probably testing new Vegetarian restaurants or taking the paddle board out for a spin!
